Biology I is the generalized study of life--both microscopic and macroscopic--and this class will detail life's cellular development, organization, and specialization. Students will learn the importance of biology in their lives through the study of basic body plans, chemistry, genetics, cellular biology, evolution, invertebrate zoology, and botany. Laboratory work will complement the learning process by involving students in procedural and problem solving skills
