Small Engines and Hydraulics

Students in this course will understand the operation of small two and four cycle engines. Students will learn engine parts, tools, the compression system, the ignition system, carburetor, lubrication, cooling and the exhaust system. Students will learn skills necessary to trouble shoot and maintain small engines through hands on work experience with engines. Students will also spend time learning and applying knowledge about hydraulic pumps, fluids, actuators, and levers
